Hi! I'm Jennifer Knopf, an early childhood teacher with experience in 1st grade, Kindergarten, and full-day Pre-K! I've taught for 12 years, and I love every minute of it (except for Monday mornings...or any morning we're out of coffee!) Teaching is my 3rd career - I'm an Army veteran and I was a stay-at-home mama for 7 years. I currently teach in Okinawa, Japan on a U.S. Military base! I have also taught at Title I schools in Oklahoma. I love to incorporate movement and music throughout my day and I am a big proponent of free choice centers ("play" time!)
As to the personal side: my husband is a retired Army veteran and we have 5 children. My daughter is 22 and my sons are 20, 18, 15 and my little guy, Sullivan, is almost 9! In my "spare" time I create products for my TPT store, interact with followers on Facebook and Twitter and get sucked into Pinterest way too often!
My plan is for this blog to be a way for me to share with others my love of teaching, as well as a way to connect to other teachers and learn from them. Thank you for visiting, please saddle up with me for this amazing journey!
