An Exchange Idea & Giveaway Winner!

Ack! I had a whole post ready and then realized that I forgot my camera at work today :( You will have to tune in tomorrow for work station pictures, my Alphabet Exchange extravaganza and stupendous seasonal apple trees!

In the meantime, I stopped at Hobby Lobby on the way home today and purchased this sweet little fellow:

Isn't he adorable! He was 40% too! Anyways, he got me thinking about how much I love gingerbread - the stories, the cookies, and the cute decor items! Then I started thinking about how I could share that love of gingerbread and spread it around some. That's when it hit me! How about a Gingerbread Buddy Exchange?

What I'm thinking of is exchanging a small Gingerbread decor item - can be store bought or handmade, as long as it's under $10 excluding shipping. We could even get our students involved by sending along a cute gingerbread craftivity or story (I'm thinking of something like a class book of "The Gingerbread Boy" etc). If you are interested, rustle up a comment below - if we get enough interest I will get a registration form together and match everyone up with a Gingerbread Buddy!

In other news, our Happy Fall Y'all Giveaway ended and the winner is:

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Kenya, you should be getting a lot of emails shortly with your goodies!

If you were not the winner, don't despair, there are lots of great giveaways going on right now. Cindy over at Granny Goes to School is having a giveaway in honor of reaching 100 followers! You can win a $25 Target or TPT gift card, some great units from Cindy's store, my Colorful Spiders unit AND my Story Elements pack! Click the button below to head over to enter!
