I'm linking up with Farley from Oh Boy 4th Grade again this month for her Currently linky party! Here's mine:
For those of you who missed it, here's a picture of my new pups - I was going to take new ones but I forgot my camera at school :(
Oh, and it took me forever to decide on my OLW! I finally chose "presence" because it can mean two different things (at least to me!). The first is a reminder to be more "present" in my day to day life - I often tune out or get absorbed in silly stuff and miss being completely present in the moment at home with my kids - they grow up so fast and I don't want to miss anything! The other way I'm using "presence" is to remind me to portray an attitude of self-assurance and effectiveness at work. I often don't feel as self-assured as I could be. For example, I posted last week about having an unexpected observer in my class and worrying about my discipline style (or lack thereof). Well today she actually came up to me and complimented me on my classroom management! Talk about useless second-guessing on my part! So I am going to start being more self-assured and try to remind myself that I do know what I'm doing!
This is going to have to be a short post tonight because I really do have to finish my filing and prepare for tomorrow. I will leave you with a quote from my youngest. Tonight at dinner I asked him what his favorite part of school was today. His reply" "Eating breakfast and eating lunch!" Gotta love him for being honest! I think it's now self-evident why he outweighs his older brother!
Just stopping by to see what you are doing currently! Come by when you get a chance!
