Fabulous Finds!

Here in Oklahoma we are having a tax-free weekend for back-to-school clothes shopping! I took my daughter out to pick up some new school shoes and ended up spending 5 hours shopping, getting hair cuts and having a great time! She is just at that age where she is a lot of fun to shop with (she's 12), she's starting to develop her own sense of style and I have to say it's cute! She even decided to go short with her hair cut and got an angled bob with bangs which is just darling. Since she was going radical, I decided to get a little more adventurous with my hair too! It is now barely shoulder length with lots of layers! I've had long hair my whole adult life (I had super short hair as a child -seriously, people always thought my brother and I were twins!) so even though I like the new look, I kind of miss the length. Here's a before and after of my beautiful daughter though:

Here's a picture from back in November, her hair had grown even longer since then:

And here she is with her new hair cut!:

Of course, since we were out and about I had to stop in the Dollar Tree to see if I could find the learning magnet sets that Little Miss Kindergarten found the other day. Unfortunately, our Dollar Tree did not have them, but they did have something even better (at least, if your classroom is forest themed like mine lol!)

Dollar Tree Forest border and cut outs!

Then I found these items at Sadler's, our local teacher store:

Squirrel/chipmunk border

(yes that price tag does say $1.99!)

Picked these cuties up at JoAnn Fabrics!

Oh, if you downloaded the ice cream counting cards I posted yesterday to go along with my Dollar Tree ice cream bowls, you might want to grab the updated file here, I added color recognition and color word practice cards :)
